I was approached to teach a Survival Tools & Kits class.
Let me clarify.
I RECOMMENDED the topic for a local preparedness fair – the act of which put a BIG FAT TARGET on my back to teach it. 🙂 I was glad to. It was fun. I always learn the most when I teach. Don’t we all? Teaching was conditional upon them knowing I wasn’t the definitive expert anything…
There is no doubt food storage is incredibly important. But survival tools and skills seem to often, but ironically, take the back seat considering food does little for us if we can’t find water or make shelter – especially in extreme environments like Idaho.
I recorded the class. You can download it here. It’s was more of a 42 minute open forum then a class lecture. We had 2 great groups, in which many ex-military shared their know-how.
Oh! And here is a basic survival tools check list to get your started.
A special thanks to all attendees and participants. Your input is appreciated and valuable!
